Welcome to Taunton Diagnostic Centre. Opened in September 2021, Alliance Medical began running this modern centre in November 2022, in partnership with Somerset NHS Foundation Trust. Serving patients across the county, Taunton Diagnostic Centre's location away from the busy hospital makes it more accessible and convenient for referrers and their patients. Offering a range of diagnostic imaging, the centre allows us to provide high-quality, safe scans quickly, significantly reducing patient waiting times.

Efficient and Prompt booking - great service - very friendly helpful staff and great nurses. Yes Taunton Diagnostic Centre were great but what a nightmare getting images sent to my consultant and hospital. The consultant requested them from Taunton Diagnostic Centre and was refused! I have requested direct to National MRI Scan Ltd but as yet this has not been done! This has to be done by e-Mail - can’t seem to get a ‘human’ to talk to!!!

When I came in was greeted and looked after- scan with staff were very helpful and made me feel at ease.All over very pleased but as left tried talking to reception but they were all nattering and didn't interact with me .But overall very good.
