After not having any joy with my local doctor I decided to have a private MRI scan. At the Turner Diagnostic centre. I was looked after and everyone was very helpful. Two days after the results came through. So glad that I decided to go down that road .Thank you

My scan was on time, and the receptionist was welcoming and helpful. The medical/technical team who did the MRI scan were very supportive, explained everything carefully, and were generally helpful. The whole area was absolutely spotless (including the loos). It was a very positive experience, for which many thanks are due.

My MRI scan was easy to book and I received a telephone call from a doctor the following day to discuss my health issue. The booking confirmation included travel directions and all the information i required to find the MRI centre (in this case, The Turner Diagnostic Unit at Colchester General Hospital). On arrival, I was dealt with straight away, the MRI scan took 30 minutes and was totally painless, and the medicastaff were polite, efficient and friendly, putting me at ease. I received the results by email a few days later and also received a telephone call from a doctor explaining them. I was totally satisfied with the whole experience.

Its Brilliant that you can self- refer, saving time & money from our NHS. Easy, booking, prompt follow up Clinical Assessment & MRI, within 1 week, results next day. The only room for improvement for me was that I was unable to open the downloaded images, it would be beneficial to have another option available.

Super service when you sign up, clear on costs ( no hidden cost everything included in price). Choice of location very helpful. I can not praise the medical team enough. The GP who called me was wonderful. She was so supportive throughout the whole process. I had my MRA within 12 days . I hugely recommend using this company. Only issue is the phone line is often not answered. On the 2 occasions I got through the admin staff are of limited help and you definitely get the impression you are bothering them . So sad as medical team all so wonderful. The only other issue is you get sent your scans with no report initially so me and my husband spent hours trying to interpret them . Ideally you would get written report then the scan. Overall this is a wonderful service and I have already recommended it to people .

Overall, very grateful (for my savings) that I could afford to fast track my scan and get the results back in less than a week. Can’t fault the process from scan to results, but not best pleased to have to chase Alliance for the appointment; this took about two weeks from first booking to getting a date, which wasn’t what appears to have been promised on the initial blurb from Alliance (2-7 working days). It took three phone calls to the helpline over about a week, ending in a very helpful person on the other end chasing the hospital to fix the appointment. I understand that Covid has put everyone in healthcare under enormous pressure, but the least Alliance could do is keep people up to date with progress and problems without customers having to chase and nag them!

Really good service. I was a bit sceptical - the service and price seemed too good to be true! Really fast service - first phone call from the clinician was within 24 hours o f making and appointment and the MRI appointment came through within 2 weeks - it was a month but I got a call to bring forward. MRIs on the Tuesday and scans and reports were in my inbox on the Thursday evening. Brilliant. Download is a bit tricky but got there after about an hour. You need a computer though - not an iPad. Overall I would highly recommend this service for the speed of delivery. Excellent

I booked an MRI scan after waiting for a long time on the NHS to come back to me....The process was really pleasant. Once I received my imaging via email I was contacted by a clinician to discuss the results and was send a report outlining the findings.

I would give 5* but trying to download images is difficult. Also my Consultant secretaries are having the same problem. I have tried emailing to them but Images are not allowed. I have requested National MRI Scan for assistance by sending to to the secretaries in question. My appointment came through very quickly for which I would give 5* staff very pleasant and chatty, it was my previous comment. Such a shame. I have now updated to 5* as National MRI have deluvered my request and Images are now with the Consultant. I would recommend their services to anyone. Thank you

My adult grandson collapsed, he was taken to hospital, after eight hours with no bed available and being told that he needed an MRI but not a priority, he discharged himself. From first contact with your Company to receiving results was less than three weeks. During that time we heard nothing from NHS. Would use you again.

Consultant got in contact very quickly after booking and again after scan results were available. However, the scan took longer than expected to be contacted about appointment date and then had to wait a further week for the scan.

I booked a private scan over concern about headaches. The head and spin scan turned out to be fine but did throw up an unexpected issue. The treatment from booking to the contact with the consultant were efficient courteous and friendly in all departments. Would highly recommend

Highly recommend this company. The communication from the beginning up to receiving the reports was excellent. Everything was so quick, everything went as promised. My only complaint was at the way I personally received my report,could not download them from my apple computer. Therefore have not been able to have my reports. Otherwise every other stage was absolutely perfect.

Absolutely fantastic service from scan.com, i put in the request for the scan on the Thursday morning and a doctor phoned me that same evening, i had a phone call from the hospital the following Tuesday for an appointment the next day and i had my results back the Friday afternoon. The doctor i spoke to on the phone was lovely and so helpful, this has saved me months of waiting and anxiety worrying about what was wrong with me. I wouldn’t hesitate to use scan.com again in the future, thank you so much!

It was such an advantage to be able to book an MRI scan without going to my GP. All aspects of the request, triage & booking were very efficient. On the day of the scan at the venue, all staff were friendly & professional. All aspects of the scan were explained very well. Results came through very promptly & were explained very clearly.
