I had no idea what to expect. The service I got exceeded any expectations I may have had. Very prompt very easy to get an appointment and very quick analysis and report. Excellent value for money.

Communication leading up to the scan was good. The wait time was also good. The sacn was prompt and efficient except that I had a trapped nerve in my right buttock and after 40 mins scanning I was in agony. The worse pain I have experienced since this problem started.Hence I had to move slightly and caused a blur on the scan. The operatives were good but difficult to understand as their English was not difficult to understand, especially with masks on. After care was good with a comprehensive report and a phone call explaining in every day English what the problem was.

A wide scanner so no feeling of claustrophobia. Everything went very smoothly and to time and all the personnel were helpful and professional.

From start to finish it was a quick easy process and got to have my MRI within two weeks at my preferred hospital

On applying for the MRI scan a doctor contacted me straight away and considered my reasons for the MRI scan, which followed a prompt verbal decision, to determine I would obtain health questions needing answering. The procedure was straight forward and the results received were within three days. Understanding the medical diagnosis is a challenge without medical knowledge, so a follow up discussion would be appreciated, which I was informed would occur within five days. Just waiting for that call for a discussion on the results. Otherwise happy with the friendly professional service provided and clear instructions with what to expect.

Really impressed with the speed at which I was attended to. First point of contact to make the appointment was reassuring and staff on the day were caring and professional. Thoroughly recommended if like me the NHS wait is too long or it’s just not happening! Very reasonably priced too.

Excellent service and reasonably priced. Very easy to follow report received after a telephone consultation follow up with someone who went through everything and asked if I had any questions. The CD with the MRI images arrived soon after. The only thing was I had read that the imaging programme is not compatible with Apple devices, which is true as I found out. I had e mailed Alliance Medical about this but they didn’t reply (not good). I found on the internet that there was an APP called OSIRIX Lite which de-encryptes the MRI for Apple devices, which it does perfectly. Understanding what’s what is another matter! All in all a very professional , fast and easy service which I would recommend.

Great, couldn’t fault the service. Just wished I’d booked in five weeks earlier rather than wasting time with the drs surgery.

First time to have a MRI in my life and I don’t know what to expect, but it was quick but the machine is quite noisy

This company has operated since 2017. The process worked well for me. I was able to have a checkup locally rather than travel into London. There are some bad reviews because, in my opinion, people expect too much. NMRIS acts as an agency tor MRI scanning operators. It utilises their spare capacity and enables us to get these scans at competitive prices whilst also having oversight from NMRIS's referring physician - an improvement on self-referral (and some centres do not allow self-referral). The downside is you have an approximate timescale of when things will happen and have to make a booking before the process starts, then wait for the scanning centre to agree a booking slot with you. For me, everything happened within acceptable time limits. I think waiting 10 days or so for a report is too long and NMRIS should address this issue where and when applicable.

If I dont leave a review I will keep getting reminders, so here goes. The purpose of the scan was to make a medical diagnosis. In that regard it was 100% successful. Some might mention the site is showing its age, complain the sign said the toilet was out of order when it wasn't, or that changing rooms are just tiny cupboards with a chair. But I won't because I don't care about these things. All I cared about was getting a quality report with professional staff using one of the most advanced public 3T scanners there is. For me that was enough, and for that I am very greatfull - thank you.
