Prompt ,exact and excellent service

National MRI Scan were super quick, once I made the enquiry they came back to me and asked lots of questions, explained what the next step was, my appointment was less than a week, once I had the scan, the very next day I had the report emailed to me and a telephone call from Emma to explain the results in depth, the images came through the day after that. I was very pleased with everything and now feel I can go and speak to my Dr about the findings, hopefully this will have quickened the whole process. Highly recommended. Made an appointment at the Nuffield hospital in Glasgow. Was taken relatively promptly and had my scan on the Friday, I got my results on the following Monday morning. It confirmed the diagnosis by my local Physiotherapist which she made over the phone...spinal stenosis. The staff over the phone and in the hospital were very nice. It is a pity there is not a nearer centre to Kirriemuir as it was a very long drive.

Everything went smoothly with my appointment for the scan itself, the advice preceding the appointment and the feedback afterwords. I was very impressed with the service I received from National MRI. I was contacted quickly and the doctor I spoke to was professional, extremely knowledgeable and, very importantly, listened carefully. She understood my concerns and labelled my scan as urgent.After my scan the doctor contacted me that very night, as she knew how worried I was and wanted to reassure me. I felt cared for, and I felt it was money well spent.

An excellent fast service with quick results

Having had an NHS hip xray showing 'mild' osteoarthritis which did not warrant being put on the operation list I was disbelieving given that the pain and disability it was causing me. I therefore decided to get an MRI - not deemed necessary by the NHS - so I'd have a better picture of what was happening in my hip joint. The MRI showed I had moderate to severe osteoarthritis, that the cartiledge had worn very thin and I had a tear in the labal cuff. This explained the severity of the pain I has experiencing and allowed me to make a decision about my next step. National MRI scan were very quick in assessing my need, organising my scan, reporting back the result to me and forwarding me the report and scan itself - all in one week. This has saved me years of pain and deterioration on my good hip due to compromised function putting a strain on the good hip.Excellent service.

It was efficient, quick and well explained.

After a few weeks of Shoulder pain, I visited the GP, I had an assessment by a physio, who asked an experienced G.P for his opinion. Both came to an agreement that I had swelling, tender to the touch and warm to very warm temperature of the shoulder. They referred me to the local hospital. After 4 hrs of blood pressure, blood test, an x-ray and an assessment by an orthopedic nurse. The hospital had a different opinion to the G.P.They could not see anything, so sent me home. So I decided to go Private for a M.R.I scan, after filing out an online form ( no G.P referral needed). After 24 hrs I received a phonecall from a consultant asking a few questions, then 24 hrs later received a call booking an appointment, within 7 days I was under the M.R.I machine. Within 2 days I received a call with the summary of what was found and a copy of my M.R.I. They found out what was wrong. For only a few hundred pound it is definitely worth it. Always get a 3rd opinion if in pain, don't take the NHS word for it. The G.P and physio have been brilliant. Special thanks to National M.R.I

Mainly an intelligent use of flexibility. I arrived well before the Xray was due to be done, and instead of waiting, I was X rayed within about 10 minutes. Staff throughout my period there were reassuringly polite and helpful. As a medically qualified person myself, I would have appreciated the opportunity to see the imaging myself, when I requested this, but this was not allowed.
