Great service. Easy booking process and results were sent about a week after the scan.
Nothing is 100% in this world and that is why I cannot give 5 star. I was happy with the process.
Very pleased with the whole process from online booking to speed in getting the scan and then to getting the results. Think it was 10 days in all. Was surprised at the cost - expected it to be more.
Brill from start 2 finish very helpful and put you at ease.
Great service and very quick response for reports and advice
Would definitely recommend for anybody needing a MRI only draw back was even tho paying privately there was still quite a wait before having my scan and too download images isn’t the easiest of things but over all very happy with experience and staff were very helpful.
Very quick and sent images to NHS GP who has booked me an X Ray based on the images. No dye used though before the scan.
The whole process was quick and easy
Easy to book. Appointment takes a few weeks. Did not have to wait on day of scan, seen straight away.
Everything was handled in a friendly and professional manner, all explained, very easy and uncomplicated.
Efficient and quick ... no hanging around waiting room! Results can through quickly
Lovely staff at Cannock hospital
From a very easy online process. Contact was made almost immediately. Very good money well spent why did I not do this sooner !!! Thanks to all who helped me.
Following a 4 month wait on the NHS for an ultrasound which found nothing I was advised the next step would be an MRI. Not wanting to wait another few months I did Internet research and found the National MRI Service which didn't require a GP referral. I completed the online form and got a call from a doctor within a couple of hours. I was asked questions and had the process explained. Two days later got a call from my chosen centre and booked in for 4 weeks time. Scan process ran smoothly and I got a call the next day with the results. Scan images and report were also sent the following day. Very professional service at a good price. I would definitely recommend them.
All went well
All the people I spoke to were very polite and knowledgeable. The scan was arranged quickly and the results produced extremely efficiently. Very impressive service allowing me to get the further treatment I need with the minimum of delay.
Contacted National MRI because suffering from abdominal pain and wanted ro avoid long NHS waiting time for test. National MRI gave me prompt test and results were available just 3 working days later. I passed these on to my GP who has as a result of the information provided by National MRI scan has requested an appointment with a consultant for me. Couldn't be happier with the service received from National MRI !
Excellent service
After suffering with chronic headaches and wanting answers I booked and went for a head/brain scan at Cannock Chase Hospital. The whole process from filling out a form online to receiving results took less than 2 weeks! Worth it to get the peace of mind
Can’t recommend them highly enough. Half the cost of the big private names and scan booked, completed and results back in just over a week. Clinician giving the results gave sound practical follow on advice.
Very quick And efficient service
My whole experience was very reassuring. The consultant was clear, concise and very helpful, the team at the hospital were also very friendly and helpful. Should I need anything else in the future I will not hesitate to use Scan.Com again.
Following vision problems my optician referred me for further investigation, suggesting an MRI scan to ensure no underlying cause. After waiting 5 weeks (admittedly over the Christmas period) I booked my own scan with scan.com. It was booked late on a Tuesday evening. I spoke with the referral dr a couple of days later and had the scan on the Sunday lunchtime. The same dr phoned on the Monday afternoon to inform me of the results and my need to be referred immediately. She was professional, kind and considerate, and answered as many of my questions as she was able to. The information was immediately forwarded to my own drs and, when I contacted scan.com admin to request copies of the images, they were in my inbox within a couple of minutes. An excellent service all round. Thank you.
Really good and professional
Quick response . Results explained and eady to understand. Very good
Good information about my scan. Quick response, the results of my scan, after my scan. On perusal of my scan I don’t really understand what I’m being told, I will see an osteopath to explain it to me. However, the short phone call before the report was emailed to me was helpful but I wished it had been a bit longer so that I could have asked a few more questions.
It was easy to book and the people I spoke to on the phone were all very friendly and understanding.
Can't fault everything went like clockwork, staff very helpful, kept me informed, would highly recommend
Had a really good experience!
no real dislikes though scanning experience itself is not that pleasant .

Prompt service pre scan. Scanning process very good. Post scan- verbal report after a week. No written result until contact phone call made to chase up. No images received as I had not completed consent form- this was not sent to me. No contact information given at start of process. Process let down on administration .

The booking process etc was great with no problems and I actually had the scan within just a few days. There was a delay on the day but the staff were very good and got it done. The issue I have is that the scan report given was just a few lines and felt like no great effort had been made compiling it. I have a scan from 4 years ago done on the nhs that has several times more detail and information on it so from that point of view I felt it really wasn’t worth doing. Things mentioned on a previous scan ( that can’t rectify themselves) we’re not even mentioned. Next time I guess I would wait for the nhs and at least get a thorough report.
Everything was fine to begin with, the appointment was made, the staff at the MRI Centre were terrific, polite, and helpful. Everything went well. After about 3 days, I received my report details, and this was also fine. You have to log into their site, with your given account. They send a pass code to your phone. This part went well. The problem came when I received the scan/s themselves. The instructions were not clear on how to download and open them. I followed the instructions, but when it came to running a programme to download and open the file, the instructions stated were for Apple-mac, and I have Windows. I was reluctant to go any further in case it messed up my p.c. It stated that all the files would be deleted after 14 days. As my Consultant wanted these scans, I was concerned as how I would get to them, but then I noticed a ''Forwarding'' button, so I thought I could forward them to him, and surely he could open them, he would be using this type of system every day. So I tried to forward the file, only to find the ''Forwarding'' button greyed out, as soon as I typed the email address in the forwarding box! So,it wouldn't work! I made various phone calls, and tried the email address that stated if I had any problems, just email. I typed a message out, explaining all my concerns, and sent it. I had an immediate reply, stating ''This email Box is not Monitored any email received from outside, will Not be Read, or Answered'' and deleted Great help! Why advise that I can use it for assistance, if that is the case? Back to phone calls for help, and looking for other email addresses I could perhaps use for help. Finally, I reached someone on a number I found, who at least could advise me that it was o.k. to activate the programme file which stated Apple-mac, and it would work on my Windows p.c. with no problems. I did this and it worked, there were the scans! Now how to forward them to my Consultant? Another email to another person, resulted in a very helpful lady phoning me, who answered this, also explaining that there are three different companies in this system, from booking, to doing the scans, to receiving the scans. The software problem, and forwarding she would look into at their next meeting, as she knew there were some problems. Being in my 70's I think I did quite well battling through all these problems and finally finding and receiving help. It was all fine until it came to receiving the scans. If they could only give more accurate, and helpful info,. Such as 'This file is o.k for Windows' and give an email address that you 'Can' Actually use for help. It would have been so much better. When your ill, and need answers, you don't need these extra problems.

The scan itself was fine although the staff who administered it gave the impression that it was a btr inconvienient for them, interrupting their chat sort of thing. The reason I've only given 3 stars is because of the assumptions made about client's IT skills. I would guess that quite a few of you clients fall into my age range, ie., not of the computer age.Although many of us have managed to pick up a few IT skills over the years, the level needed to get the results of the scan far outweighed any I have, and, I suspect, most in my aged range. I managed to download the results but was totally unable to open them until I was sent them again in another format. Please do not assume that people know much more than they do about IT. It is very frustrating and annoying and even if we have family or friends to ask, we may not want to do so. I wanted a hard copy to take to my doctor but couldn't have one becasuse the hospital didn't do that. I respectfully suggest that the hospital be encouraged to do that, especially for clients my age.

Not had scan yet. Had to wait 1month rather than the 1 week implied on the website.
Great service. Easy booking process and results were sent about a week after the scan.
