From the actual booking of the scan to the actual scan itself, I have nothing but praise for the treatmenti received. Smithe the radiographer could clearly see the immense pain i was in and went above and beyond to help and make me as comfortable as he could. Absolutely excellent service. I would not hesitate in using this company again. Thank you so much to all the staff involved wirh my booking.

I was unhappy with the service offered by the Oulton, Leeds centre after not receiving a call which is been promised however after contacting Scan.com I was able to get an appointment the same day at another centre. The guys at Eastgate House, Leicester were fantastic and the following report and clinician consultation covered all my questions. I would definitely recommend.

Having felt the need for urgent information following a foot injury I sought an urgent scan which was not possible via the NHS. By accessing availability online I could get an appointment for a private scan local to me within 36 hrs.The actual cost was well below that I would have had to pay at a mainstream private hospital.Included was a telephone consultation from a private consultant which explained my problem and confirmed my path to recovery. I recommend this as a way forwards.

I was able to get an appointment quickly - albeit a long way from my home near York to Leicester. The staff were friendly and the srvice quick on site. However, initially I did find the location difficult to find.

I used Scan.com to get an MRI done quickly. The site was very easy to use and provided a good range of options with early availability. It was great that some centres showed the available times for a scan on the website. After requesting a scan, the process was very efficient: the consultant called the same day to confirm the type of scan required and the centre followed up very quickly to book the slot. The post scan process was also efficient and I received a report and follow up call from the consultant in 2 days.

I was made to Phil very comfortable and relaxed. Everybody was very efficient. I didn’t feel anxious as this is my first MRI. I was made to feel comfortable. They kept checking on me to make sure I was okay. I got a copy of my scan on CD and also all the information I needed including highlighted words that I could Google so I understood, what happened on the day?

This was the first time using Scan.com but I have to say what a superb service you provided. The whole process was smooth and very quick with no issues at all. The call to explain my MRI scan results came within 24 hours and an immediate email with the report came through at the same time. An excellent service that I would highly recommend.

From making the initial phone call for a scan, I had a call from the clinician the following day who wisely suggested an alteration to the scanned area, and the day after that I had my scan and was presented with the CD, with the report following the next day– again by a very helpful clinician

Good communication and service from start to finish, booked a MRI scan for the next day close to my home received the images on disc after scan and the report was 2 days later with a phone call from consultant , I passed this information onto knee surgeon which cut out alot of time and aloud my operation to go ahead sooner .

I needed an MRI scan to establish any issues in my lumber region relating to back pain. I attended this firm's Leicester unit housed in a large trailer at a medical centre. The speedy appointment was easy to make online and the whole process was efficiently carried out by pleasant knowledgeable staff. I particularly appreciated phone calls at each stage of the process. The final emailed report was issued in two working days from the date of the scan, preceded by an overview by phone from a clinician. All in all I'm impressed with this company which charges a competitive fee.

Appointment booked and then brought forward, results report over the phone good. The written report was OK, has plenty of detail, but could incorporate some pictures and simplified text to highlight the areas of concern for better understanding. We are not all doctors/specialists.

Very impressive service, less than 48 hours from making the booking to having the radiologists report for the MRI on my wife's lumbar spine and sacrum. Smith who did the scan at Eastgate Diagnostics Centre, Leicester was excellent and clinician Simon was very thorough and willing to discuss the results in detail. The radiologists report was thorough and relatively easy to understand, especially the patient friendly version. The results have alleviated our worst fears and will allow us to discuss the best treatment with our GP. Overall, money well spent.

My appointment was postponed making it unlikely that I would get results before Christmas. I was told I would. I was told that scan.com worked on Saturdays but the telephone answering message on Sat 23rd Dec was wrong. I had been led to believe that results would be sent to my doctors but I had to do that personally. It appeared to me that I didn't get any information including access code to scan until I asked for it. No one cared how stressful was all the misleading information and waiting and I wished I had not used the service. I feel I should add that scan. com did work very fast to get the results of my scan to me despite the weekend and bank holidays.

The website is very informative and easy to navigate. Booking a slot was easy and although I initially booked a few days ahead, I received a call and was able to have a scan the next day which I really appreciated. The pre-scan and post-scan conversations with a specialist were invaluable. Eastgate Diagnostics, Leicester carried out my mri scan and couldn't have been more helpful or professional- thanks to all involved. I will definitely use Scan UK again as the waiting list through the NHS and health insurance was several weeks.
