Directions

Located within the Team Valley Trading Estate, this scanning centre is accessible via Junctions 67 and 68 of the A1, with access via Kingsway North and Fifth Avenue. Buses depart from Kingsway North and serve a range of local destinations including Gateshead, Fenham, Sunderland and Wardley. Dunston mainline rail station is located within 2 miles of the scanning centre.

A seamless service of excellence, The MRI centre at Nottingham, highly efficient. My scans were done at Gosforth and the staff were superb and super efficient. Feedback from Dr Anna Podlasek at Nottingham for the brain was rapid and effective, and helpful. Likewise feedback for the Cervical spine was just the same. Moreover, I cannot praise highly enough the staff at Gosforth for their compassion and human decency. I commend the service to anyone who needs answers within a week. Great value for money.

A little hiccup receiving our scan results but otherwise no problems. Will definitely use them again. Everyone very professional. The scan team in Newcastle were very good and helpful too.

The only negative part of this experience was I could hardly hear the CD I wanted to listen to. Maybe you could use a better speaker

The machine itself was excellent compared to the old ones 5 stars for that and it wasn't stressful at all. However, the booking and waiting for results was very stressful due to delays.

Newcastle site available for a short notice scan. <2 weeks from injury to scan, and diagnosis and report within 48 hours. All staff whether Scan.com or NHS have been very helpful. Images sent to me in a handy zip package with viewer. 2nd time and hopefully the last I will need to use this amazing service.

From start to finish, the service provided by Scan.com and Newcastle Clinic was top class. My MRI was easy to arrange, I was contacted by a specialist before and after and was talked through my results. I booked my MRI online on a Thursday evening, had a call the next day from a specialist and had my scan just over a week later. My results were available within 48 hours! The clinic I attended was superb, the staff were polite, helpful and very supportive.

Booking an appointment was straightforward on line. The pre-scan phone consultation came within a day of making contact with scan.com. The appointment was made quickly and the scan was carried out on time. The medical report came within a day of the scan.

Excellent Service. I booked online in the morning and received a call from their doctor in the afternoon. I received the phone call from the MRI hospital the following day and was booked in 3 days later. The scan took place on time and I received the report and images within 6 days. Cannot fault the service.
