The Scan took place in a unit outside , which was dated , cold and shabby- unlike the Jane’s at the American Express building in Brighton/woodingdean. The staff were abrupt, unsympathetic tk tye level of oak. I was in, no suitable supports to place under me legs, whilst I struggled to lie on my back as it’s agony. They tried pushing pillows under my knees, 3 if them In the end as they were very old flat pillows- it was painful. Then once my head had been secured in the frame, the other person was passing me ear plugs- I coukdnt move my arms , too painful, so he tried moving & lift my head & the. Out the head phones on, squashing my ears/ head whilst trying to push them on - I was in so much pain, and my thoracic are, mid back discs were being scanned- I really didn’t receive a basic level of care- and as I was paying for the MRI , I was really shocked by the inexperienced & unprofessional staff you have employed- a very painful experience - with uncaring staff in an outdoor old, tatty unit .

Easy to book, good information received through the process. Had to chase for report though and still have not received the scans yet. But would recommend.

Regarding the booking, the information is clear and it’s quick and easy to book. Being able to use an MRI unit in an NHS hospital near me gave me a feeling of trust. I had the scan on a Wednesday and the report, along with the MRI images, were available for me to view on the following Monday, with access provided to my GP on the Tuesday. The report included layman’s explanations which were really helpful. The overall cost was quite reasonable. I would certainly recommend Scan.com. Thank you for a brilliant service.
